The Hearst Castle Refectory, a grand dining hall filled with rare museum-quality furnishings and silver. The ornate carved wooden ceiling originally belonged to a 16th century Italian monastery, the walls are lined with Flemish tapestries and paneled with 15th century choir stalls from a Cathedral in Spain. Silken Italian flags, some over 400 years old, hang between French Gothic windows.
