June 25 Grand Forks to Williston SD (536/2120 mi) - Northern Minnesota is a verdant land of lakes and forests. I cross the Mississippi near its source, where it is an easy stone throw across. Two years ago I rode across the wide Mississippi in Mark Twain's hometown, Hannibal, Missouri, and again in New Orleans.
